[Alliance personal P2P network] Anyone want to give it a shot?

Doing this with some friends from another forum about 10 of us there. Its a Mix of Bittorrent and DC++ so its really cool.
msg me on aim if oyu have any questions (iamddavee)

if this is against the rules let me know, but it should be fine.

make sure you open the port it will be under sharing and telll you what your port is.

1. Download and run Alliance here:
http://www.alliancep2p.com/download

2. When Alliance starts it will ask you for a code. Enter this:
YWT%VnAnhZBwhQ

Looks like the privacy of DC++ with the benefits of BT.

Overview

Alliance is a private and secure place to share files and communicate with people you know. It is easy to use and free.

Technically Alliance takes the best parts of BitTorrent (advanced multi-source downloading), DirectConnect (community) and WASTE (security).

With Alliance users create their own networks. You can either start a new network or get invited into an existing network by another Alliance user.
Alliance P2P - Safe file sharing

Alliance Getting started

Not much on help files.

Once you add folders for sharing it takes awhile to hash it out. You can remove the hash speed limit in Options/Advanced (change to '0&#039.

Folder wont show contents untill they're all hashed out.

In Options/Security check "When a new friend connects automatically connect me to their friends"!

To share an entire drive you have to mod the config file.

Theres an intergrated chat feature as well.

In options/security check the first 3 options and uncheck the last.
