New to forum, 2008 Mazda3, want to set up for autocross

Hello all, I've owned my 2008 Mazda3 hatch since 2010. It's been my daily driver for most of those years (I also own a 2015 Mazda6 which I drove about four years while my daughter was driving the 3). The daughter's off to college and I'm driving the 3 again and loving it! I like the 6 very much, but I couldn't get the MT with the Touring trim (so much for Zoom-Zoom) and I really enjoy shifting my own gears.

I want to continue to daily drive the 3 but I also want to do some mods to make it somewhat competitive in H-Street class in autocross. So I'll be looking for feedback in the autocross forum soon. Mainly tires, wheels, brakes, and struts. Whatever I can do and still stay legal in H-Street.

I'm a long-time car nut and have owned many, but being that I own two Mazdas, you can say I'm a Mazda fan for sure. Whenever someone asks for a recommendation, I always steer them toward a Mazda. My cousin bought one on my recommendation. I currently also have a 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo, but it's not a good autocross car.

I don't know if anybody reads this, so I'll sign off now. If you're in Chattanooga, TN area, lets get together sometime.
