|Hey yall im extremely new here just registered a few minutes ago and im in need of some help. So my 2012 mazda 3 was bit by a rock recently on the driver door. Gouged it pretty good, so much that it not only gouged it but also popped the metal out around it. I went to the only reputable repair shop in town and they don't do metal work only bondo. Don't get me wrong, they do great work but they can't fix the metal that's been popped out resulting in a funky lines. So my thoughts are if I can get a new exterior door panel from a salvage yard get it painted and replace the gouged one my problems will be solved but I've been scouring the internet and various forums to try and see if one could even remove the outer door panel and my searches have turned up nothing. Is there anyone out there that can help me? Also if there is a thread out there that discusses this then I do apologize I searched for it but I may have missed it.
