clear posting guidelines

I am a bit perplexed by what types of posts are considered acceptable by the moderators here. Several of my comments were seemingly randomly deleted and at other times I am muted without reason. I never intended for my comments to be inflammatory and I certainly do not wish to antagonize the moderators and board members further, and thus I think it would be very helpful if clear guidelines are given indicating what is acceptable and not acceptable in posts... Is this possible?

Re: clear posting guidelines

We don't need to clarify on common sense.

Just be yourself, be cool and be courteous for a while. You are a noob on a forum where many of us have been here for quite a while. To be part of this community is to fit in. It is not the job of the community to adapt to you. The community WILL adapt to you in time. Whether it be dry wit, sarcasm or whatever the community will learn of it and accept as who you are and you will just be another aspect of the community. By all means avoid conflict, avoid derogatory remarks and you will likely not get flamed. If someone has an engine problem, you don't want to say: "well I thought the duratec was a pos"...not a good conversation starter. Do you see what I mean?
I've been here over 3 years and NEVER had harsh words with anyone. You may see harsh words in my post and those who reply but we have been around long enough to know it is a joke or someone messing around. There is a difference.

Re: clear posting guidelines

what puzzles me is that I don't call the fusion or duratec a pos or any other words of similar vulgarness. I do try to avoid conflict and I have not attacked anyone on these boards. I am a milan owner, and I do have opinions of the fusion/milan based on my own personal experiences with the car and thus i felt it would be helpful to share them. If I have any harsh words at all, it is directed towards the CAR and not to anyone; most of the time insults are returned directed to me personally, and I really do not see why I am blamed for the conflicts that result. are we not allowed to criticize the fusion at all?
