Forum Layout Suggestion

Since now there's 2 generations of Mazda3's, I suggest it should be divided in the following way.

2nd Generation (20xx - Present)
-General Talk
-Interior (self explanatory)
-Exterior (Suspension, body, etc.)
-Mechanical (Engine)
-TSBs?

1st Generation (xxxx - 20xx)
-General Talk
-Interior (self explanatory)
-Exterior (Suspension, body, etc.)
-Mechanical (Engine)
-TSBs?

With this, it's easier for new buyers to distinguish a new thread vs. an old thread and get to the pertinent information the quickest.

I'm currently shopping for a MZ3 and it's difficult to tell if it's a 1st gen thread or not, especially since it's all under one forum. Sure, there's a 2010 child forum in some categories... Like the "What do you Hate about your 3" has pages and pages of gen 1 stuff, only about 2 pages of gen 2 stuff, but it's all in one thread and stickied in Customer Reviews.

What do you guys think?

Re: Forum Layout Suggestion

I say remove all the 2010 stuff, 'cause it's crap.

Re: Forum Layout Suggestion

a lot of the stuff is divided, but some is not, probably because some things are interchangeable between the two cars

you could make a new post and see what opinions people have to say, most if not all will say something like "go go do it" or "DO IT NOW"

Re: Forum Layout Suggestion

That doesn't seem too likely now, does it?
