Re: New forum skin

It is a bit more difficult to pick out topics for clicking. Also the brightness is kind of annoying. But other than that it could be worse I guess.

Final verdict:

New skin: 4.5/10

Old skin: 8/10

Re: New forum skin

this reminds me of when Mazda changed one of their older cars to a new version that didn't look as good as the old, im trying to recall what car but my memory is a lil distorted now, will update as soon as I remember the vehicle!

I think it's pretty neat. I like the contrast between posts.

Re: New forum skin

It takes time to adjust. I was so comfortable with the one style. I'm sure I'll be with this one to, over time.

My local forum just updated their software too so its like all new everywhere for me...lol.

Re: New forum skin

Hah this sounds familiar... same argument last time we changed.

There's things I like the old theme better, and things I like about the new one.

Re: New forum skin

personally I think that there needs to be a better division between the avatar column and the posts... a more clear divider between posts and a little more obvious buttons for like "reply" and those at the bottom... but don't listen to me, I only have a little experience in graphic/web design and such in college... I like sites clear cut, this theme kind of blends into the next section really easy. I've seen much, much worse though
