facebook link problem

whenever i click on the little facebook icon under each poster, it takes me to my own profile (when it should be taking me to theirs)... i hover my mouse over the icon, the link shows their profile ID is "0"

Re: facebook link problem

It's because facebook just changed the way people's sites are linked, you have to make a screen name now (if you haven't)

for example, the link you put is the link to your own site, meaning when I click on it it sends me to mine just because that is the default link to your own profile.

Once you make your screen name it won't be numbers like it used to be, ei: link to my facebook right now is www.facebook.com/afnuse

Because I set my screen name as afnuse

Re: facebook link problem

Yea the forum does it automatically which I didnt know I checked mine too and it was set as just 0, you just have to go into your profile settings and change the 0 to your screen name, apparently you cant have nothing so I have no idea

Re: facebook link problem

I've tried to clear out that line as well, but does not work.

I finally gave up.

Re: facebook link problem

lol u kno what u could do? make the facebook profile thing the same way we list our "Website" ... look under my avatar for an example

P.S. i think it would be better if the facebook link opens a new tab/window like the website link does

Re: facebook link problem

Our current FB linking system allows only UID's (numbers only), not usernames. It will work if you put in your user ID.
