Locked for sale threads

Is there a way for mods to delete all of the locked for sale threads that are done with? It'll help save people from wanting to bump their own threads so much because it'll atleast stay on page 1 for longer.

Re: Locked for sale threads

Personally, I always find it helpful to see that an item has been sold (if I was following the sale) and also If I'm selling the same item, establish a selling price.

If the threads are deleted neither of these would be possible.

If a buyer is looking for something, they will look further than the 1st page of the FS section as they're often pulling up threads that are months old.

Re: Locked for sale threads

Why not a completed section like with the group buys?

Re: Locked for sale threads

When you move or delete a thread it maintains it's spot in the original section providing a link to it's new location. So moving sold threads to a sub section will not clean up the active FS section.

Daniel, you can move a post w/o leaving a redirect. Just uncheck the box when you're moving it.

You can, but you wouldn't want to. What happens to all those people looking for it.
