New guy to forum comment

Hey guys... Just a quick comment. I posted in this section about a vibration on my car. It got moved to the powertrain/stock section. Fine with me, I contemplated posting it there but I was thinking that the powertrain section was for discussing modifications and that this was the discussion area for stock car issues. Then upon further looking at the list of topics in that stock area there's threads on windshield washers and squirters and other totally off topic stuff. As a new guy to the forums, there's NO WAY I would've thought to look under the powertrain section to find the "stock" sub catagory. Maybe there's a reason to put it in there but to me, if this isn't where you want people posting questions about issues with their stock Mazda 3's in general you should make that "stock" sub-catagory a little less hidden for the newbies that are on here just looking to get some info.

Just my 2 cents from a newbie to this forum. I did search before posting but couldn't find any info from numerous different keywords that I tried looking under.

This thread should go in site suggestions section! :P

The powertrain section was the appropriate section for your thread.

I say when creating a thread, try to make your best guess. If it's in the wrong section it will be moved. Don't worry about your thread being moved for fear of being buried as most of us go to "show unread posts" so we see all new threads regardless of where they're posted.

8 posts but all forums are the same. They all have WAY to many sub catagories which makes it a pain in the ass to find info you're typically looking for. LOL I've got thousands of posts in offroad & dirt bike forums. This car is just a commuter car and I have no intention of being very active in this forum. I just found it funny that the "stock" forum is literally kind of hidden. Not everyone that owns the vehicle is interested in Modifying or racing them. To me, racing belongs off the road, not on. LOL

To be fair, you don't actually have the ability to post in the regular powertrain section, so you learn pretty quick

I was just giving you a hard time man

to be honest, I think this is the best car forum I have ever been apart of. It may have its little flaws, but the members and the amount of input are awesome.

I do encourage getting involved locally too

Yeah, I took it all in good fun. Just seems that some of the sections are a little hidden from a "new user's" perspective. That's all... I guess if I had really paid attention to the fine print I would've caught it cause I see it now but I swear I looked up and down the catagories about 3 times looking for something that wasn't performance oriented to ask a general question issue in. I've been known to be blind before though for sure!

BTW, I picked up this little hooptie for $7300 over the weekend...
