Posting an item for sale

I went to the M3F Buy / Sell forum and read the rules for posting.

I meet the qualification for the number of hours spent on the forums but not the qualifications for the number of posts.

The rules note that you may post if you receive special permission from a moderator. Please do NOT contact MZ6ZoomZoom about this. There is no New Topic tab visible, so I can't ask anyone on that forum the following question.

To what/which Forum moderator do I have to write to ask for special permission so I can post some tires for sale? Anyone know??

Thanks,
Gunny

Permission is generally granted if you're a member who's been here a long time (2 yrs or more) and have over 10 hours of online time. Since you lack the longevity, I doubt permission will be granted.

Yes, that is another way to look at it - however posting 1 or 3 word sentences will not suffice.

Posting informative posts with some thought is really the way to go.

Re: Posting an item for sale

Guys, thanks to all of you for responding, but I am out of here.

Over the last 10 years or so, I have been a member of numerous lists and sites such as this and never have I run across such restrictive practices as are associated with posts to this one.

Here I am with a set of brand new tires I don't need or want and am willing to sell for half price to another member who would otherwise have to pay full price for them. A win-win situation.

Instead, another member will have to pay full price for tires and I'll look at this set of new Potenzas sitting in my garage: a lose-lose situation that serves no one...just because whoever set up this site has come up with a unnecessarily restrictive set of rules which do not serve members well.

Life's too short to put up with nonsense like this.

Ciao,
Gunny
