It's too big. I think the limit here is 100x100 pixels. Try uploading to http://imageshack.us/ or a similar site. This one gives you the option to reduce the pixel count for avatars. Save the picture to your desktop or somewhere on your local drives, then browse to it in the upload process and select "resize image" and dropdown to avatar. Experts, please correct me if I'm wrong....

you ain't being a pain...that's why it's a collective effort, everyone trys to help out....

Re: How To: Post Pictures

Hi, I get the error message "Pixel allowance exceeded" when trying to upload an image to Mazda3Forums.com Gallery. The size of the file is 1059Kb which is less than the stated maximum allowed. Can you tell me what I need to do please?

Re: How To: Post Pictures

along the lines of the 1st post here....you can copy and paste the url then highlight the url and just click the img tag and it'll surround it automatically...does that make sense?

The Gallery doesn't work quite as well as it's supposed to since everyone filled it up with pics of Roxy. It should work if you upload your pics to another host site. There are lots out there for free, like imageshack.

Re: How To: Post Pictures

I use (and like) Flickr for image hosting. Upload once and then it gives you several sizes and the links to them. But recently they made you have a yahoo ID to use it, which kinda sucks but wasn't too hard to setup. I haven't shopped around for these services, so I wouldn't know what was better, but I'm happy with Flickr.

Just thought I'd mention it since it wasn't on the list above.
