Delete Old Repeated Posts

Hey i have an idea, wouldn't it save some time and space if you guys deleted alot of repeated posts? For instance, how many posts do "we" need on changing the Hello on the radio posts. I think if u deleted alot of posts it would be good for the community, if like in the beginning of all the sections you have a few words, like:
- There is no way to Change the Hello on the Radio, if you figure it out, let us know.
- The Easiest way for you to connect your mp3 player to the stock radio would be with the PIE Interface.

Something like that would save alot of people time, and save u guys space.
Another thing, what about with the Buy/Sell Section, let all posts stay for 30 days, then delete them, if no one buys the item, let the seller Repost so that it's not lost on page 15, where no one goes back that far to look for a set of tires.

Just something I thought might be good for the forums.

^^ I agree. You should delete all the thread that have been locked; or even the ones that nobody goes too anymore.

That I will agree to but sometimes I do go way back to look at a old thread.

Yeah but sometimes it might be worth it.

i think it would be best to organize important info on the car and put it in a FAQ or somthing. but then again who would want to do all that work?

Well, many of the sections do have FAQ's. But yes, FAQ's are good.

Something I've always wondered...why can't we delete our own posts here? Sometimes I see the little "X" show up next to "edit post", but that seems like about 1% of the time. Sure would help with double postings.
