Hi. I am a newby

2005 Mazda 3 2.3. Had since new. Drivers side cv axle where it goes into transaxle is wobbly. Get a humming noise over 60. Anyone know if that bearing can be changed without dropping tranny. Thanks. By the way wheel bearings are new

Just changed my cv axle recently.. but which bearing are you talking about?
The one right inside the tranny behind the axle seal?
