Hey all! Long story short, I was looking at getting a used Mazda 3 hatch with m/t but ended up in a brand new '18 Mazda 3 Touring sedan with m/t Go me! The dollars made more sense, considering they let it go for just over 19k and at least I know what it's been through (nothing) rather than taking a chance on a used one. It's my first manual, and while I have no problem driving it so far, it takes some getting used to so I'm a little nervous about how much satisfaction this little thing will bring me. I'm in love aside from the transmission and am sure that feeling will pass as well as it becomes second nature. The car is amazing for the price (even though I'm starting to miss my '16 Cherokee already), handles like a feather, and I'm happy to be here. I'll come back with some photos in a few days.
I actually originally registered to get advice on fixing issues, but now that I ended up with a new one I guess I'll be doing more lurking instead. Nothing planned for it aside from tint and perhaps an intake at some point for some sound. Who knows, maybe by the time I get really comfortable with the m/t I'll need a new clutch
