Hi! New here! :)

Hello I am new here. I bought a Mazda3 last year and have been fixing it up for when I get my drivers license which will be in May of this year. I am very excited and keep improving my car to make it as good as I can for when I get my license.
I have a 2005 Mazda 3 Hatchback. I got it insanely cheap but it was not perfect. It had rusted a bit but not too much so I am currently working on fixing the biggest rust. I've heard these cars can be a pain to deal with when it comes to rust but I just want it to be good enough.
I hope to meet more Mazda 3 owners here and share my progress on working on the car
I will attach a photo of my car on one of my recent adventures

Welcome! There is quite a bit of good information on this forum. It's good to start working on your car when you are young. Saves you money when you are older knowing how to fix your vehicles for sure!

What are those building in the background? Where I live (US) there is a town called Edgemont in South Dakota. It has a whole city sized area of decommissioned military bunkers that look just like those buildings. They sell them now for Doomsday preppers! Just interesting as the landscape looks very similar!

Thank you!
The photos are taken in an abandoned military airport in Iceland. It used to be used by the US army in World War 2 to store bombs and airplanes. Nowadays it's not in usage so I like to drive there although it is far away from my home. The area is also filled with bunkers you can go into and it is pretty cool. I have a photo on my Instagram taken inside one of the bunkers with my Mazda but it's a year old photo.
The buildings being built around the airport are data centers for bitcoin mining.
Overall the area is beautiful and if you have the chance of going to Iceland I recommend checking it out
