Fiesta ST150 with 2.5 Swap

Hey all

Just introducing myself. I'm interested in doing the 2.0 to 2.5 swap in an Australian Spec 2008 Ford Fiesta XR4 - known as the ST150 in European markets, but not sold in the US that I can see, although the Mazda 2 might have been in the US at that time. This forum looks like a great place to get some useful info - especially the guys that have done 2.3 to 2.5 swaps in Fusions and Mazda 3's.

I've seen some chat about the 2.0 to 2.5 swap - but nobody has really mentioned much about the change in deck height between the L8/LF and the L3/L5. I take it since nobody has mentioned anything that the 14mm difference between the 1.8/2.0 and the 2.3/2.5 blocks has not impacted manifolds or spacing. Spacing may not be as much of an issue in the bigger cars - but I am yet to see if it is a problem in the little Fiestas.
