New guy...

Hey Everyone,

New to these forums. I have a 2011 Mazda 3 2.5 6sp. Like the car alot. Kinda wish I would have gotten a speed3 but I am good for now.

I am hoping to get an answer before going to the dealer. I have a creaking / metallic rubbling noise coming from underneath the back half of my car. It sounds just like a loose exhaust, but when I jacked up the car I it is all secured by the hangars and the heat shields seem to be in place. It is most prevalent when I am stopping but goes on for a second (almost like a swinging pipe) when completely stopped. I have checked the stabilizer link bolts and they are tight. I am baffled and I hate tapping out and going to the dealer. The car has 70k miles with no mods (yet)

Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to M3f, I would recommend waiting to ask the question until you're approved to start new topics (should be now I would think) so that people actually see your question... not many people look in the intro forums.
