Hi all and many thanks!

I signed up for this forum a while back when working on my mazda 3 2004/05. The information I found here helped me with replacement of struts, brakes, AC filter and front wheel bearings. The wheel bearing was the toughest job so far I have done on the car. I learned important lessons:
- mazda 3 made in 2004 has different wheel bearings than 2005
- replacement of single wheel bearing can screw up your cruise control (fixed by replacing both sides)
- cheap wheel bearing hubs ~ $50 comes in different boxes (timken, moog, duralast) but from the same factory! Seriously, they are exactly same if you put them side by side. In the end I contacted directly Moog and learned that only Summit racing is official dealer - got it from them and the difference was obvious right out of the box.
Anyway, that is my intro.
I am now facing some new problem with my car so will post it on the forum as soon as I get the privilege.
Cheers!
Martin

Welcome, and glad the information here was able to help you out
Would be even better if you could move those "lessons learned" to the appropriate DIY thread that you used once you're given access to post on the rest of the forum!
