Another Fusion In MI

Hello everyone!
Making my appearance now, rather than later, I'm the new owner of a Dark Blue 07 fusion SE and figured I'd get into the forums.
Time for some background. Well I just bought my fusion 4 days ago (1/13/2015(First car as well) It has 130k miles on the 4 cyl. Almost perfect condition, the right side door and fender have a slight dent as if it got bumped while someone was backing out of a parking spot, and the right fog light assembly is going to have to be replaced as the inside no longer has its shiny material inside and barely shines enough light to be even a 1/4 bright as the left. Happy Early Birthday to me! I'm loving the car and am very excited to have it.

Thanks for your time -Jake

Hey Jon, thanks for the welcome.
Right now mods are a short list being buying a car is expensive and being under 21 makes insurance sky rocket (thankfully never been pulled over, have no tickets, clean driving history). Current mod plans would be foot well lighting! Reds for the front and back to shine in foot wells when doors are open, Blue for the front foot wells to run when dash is illuminated.

After that Chrome Door handles and Mirrors. Once spring gets here, I'm gonna fix up the surface rust from the right side rocker (paint chipped off), fix the lip of the trunk lid for the bubble rust coming through.
just fixed the radio display, found a fix for that here before I signed up! so glad that works now
Got more ideas but those are for later down the Road. definitely looking forward to doing stuff to this car, Have driven a friends a bunch before I got mine, now that I have one, I love it all the more.

Thank you for the warm welcome and compliments Betty and Pancakes. I eventually plan to do more to the car. I will keep posted on what changes get done. I'm considering getting a aftermarket wheel that matches the size of the stock ones. Would be a waste if it didn't fit the brand new tires that are on the car, anyhow lights are the first phase anyway. Gotta start with what I can afford.

Jon, no plans to lower it, I like it as it is, though I might do a body kit in the future, Halo Head lights, maybe LED Tail lights. I think I may leave the tail lights alone though I like how they look stock. in regards to "spring" I meant Spring Time, as in The Season, Its hard to rust fix/paint in the winter when you don't have a spray booth. weather gets nicer and warmer makes painting so much easier.

Right on, if you decide to do a kit and wheels your going to want to lower it.

Aftermarket wheel just look funny with huge wheel gap, they draw more attention to the wheels and the gap is an eyesore. Same goes with a bodykit.
