Mazda3? I have a Ford fusion!

But I'll do this anyway. I just joined the Ford fusion club forum (FordFusionclub.com) and it insists I go here to introduce myself. don't you think that's sort of weird?

Having to make a silly post before you can post is weird.

Man, this is getting weird. I did my first search and I get stuff about Mazdas. Now, it so happens that in addition to the Fusion my wife and I own a Mazda MX-5, but that's beside the point. Anyway, I need some hlp with seaches.

The Fusion is giving us a SAT FAULT error when we go to SIRIUS. I've done searches for SAT FAULT and "sat fault" and both give me results for "sat, fault" which means any thread with the word sat or the word fault. That's a lot of threads. How do I restrict the search to the occurance of both words in the order I present them. TIA

Welcome! The "Introductions" subforum is shared between the AutoGuide forums, and not specific to just one forum.

Using search on FordFusionClub should generally not bring up results from the Mazda forums. http://www.fordfusionclub.com/search.php

Real quick - you can try un-connecting your battery and reconnecting it performing a reset. If not, you may have to replace the satellite or antenna module.

Thanks pancakes, but I already did that. I found a TSB (11-3-3) that covers this that says to reprogram the SDARS Module. Ever heard of this?

Yes, you can reprogram that module. Don't let a shop or dealer trick you otherwise saying that they have to replace the whole module (which is costly). There is a software update that fixes a software bug.
