New here. Soon I will have my first Mazda

(Yes, I'm posting for the first time well after joining. I was still deciding between the Golf and the 3 when I joined is all)

Anyway, I'm in the process of waiting for the last of the insurance check from my '09 tC* to clear (should be Saturday), which should be Saturday. I'm getting a 2015 Mazda3 I Touring hatch in the dark blue, with the tech package. I test drove a white one, and aside from a really hard brake pedal (ie, painful to push, probably due to a defective brake booster or the like), loved it. Uh...aside from that, and explaining the star next to tC, I dunno what else to say

*If you're curious why I got an insurance check, brake failure/engine fire caused the car to be declared a total loss, which saddens me. I loved my six and a half year old Scion from the day I bought it new. Bright side, the only damage was to the car and there were no injuries.

So there was a major issue with the test car you drove...I would immediately have 2nd thoughts about buying that same model. I would definitely find out if that's a common issue with the 2015 Mazda3. To me it's already a red flag.
