New to Mazda, New to the Forums! - 2015 Mazda3 Hatch

Hi Everyone!

My name's Evn, and I recently purchased a Crystal Blue 2015 Mazda3 Manual sGT Hatch and decided to hop on the forums. So far all I've done to it is some modifications to the infotainment system, but I'd like to do a bunch more. I know it's not a Speed3 (I don't know if I could afford one even if they still made them) but I'd like to do at least some basic performance mods and as many inexpensive cosmetic mods as people can recommend.

So far all I know is that I need to replace my air filter, tint the windows, replace those godawful license plate holders, possibly get new wheels, and I'd really like to replace the pedals.

Otherwise, does anybody have any suggestions? Here's the stock Mazda picture of the car:

Thanks in advance!!

Cheers,
Evn

So far not to much is ready for the car yet.
As I say that of course Corksport just introduced their exhaust for the '14 models ... literally less than 24 hours ago.

The OEM lip kit for the 14s are really pretty, along with what a lot of people are doing and blacking out the chrome "wing" around the front grill. It looks good with dark wheels; not sure though with the stock wheels, may look a bit odd.

welcome regardless!

I was thinking about getting gold wheels and instead of blacking out the chrome, dipping it gold? Maybe swap the medallion for a gold one? Thought it might look nice with the dark blue.

:/

The gold would have to be SPOT ON, otherwise you risk it looking absolutely terrible.

You can at least go with a gold or dark yellow wheels, but I would scrap playing with the grill, it's to much of a risk for going overboard IMO

I think gold wheels could still look good with blacked out chrome. I do love the look of a lot of black wheels, too. Just not sure which would look better with my dark blue. I'm considering lowering springs either way.

I also think a black vinyl piece on a couple of the hood lines might look awesome, but I've only seen this on the Speed3.
