Hello - 2006 mazda 3s owner

Hello everyone, I have a 2006 Mazda 3s. I've had the car since 2008. Got it with about 18k miles on it and it now has 140k miles on it. I've never had an issue with it but about 2-3 years ago I got a P0126 code on it. I hadn't done anything about it until recently. Thanks to the pictures and DIYs I was able to replace my thermostat successfully. All the DIYs are greatly appreciated, thank you again.

Issues with p0126

I have an '06 Mazda3 S GT and a CEL came on. Autozone read it as a P0126. My coolant level is fine so they said it could be a faulty ECT sensor, but as I read online I also see that it can be my thermostat is bad. Other than starting at the cheapest part and start replacing how do I tell which it is? It is 25-30 degrees here right now and after sitting cold in the garage all night, my car is at the midway area on my temperature gauge within about 2 miles of city driving from my house. Those are about all the clues I have to give you. - Thanks!
