Not So Proud Owner of 2013 Ford Fusion :D

I found this while looking into an issue I have been having with my car and wanted to see if anyone else experienced the same problems I have had. I got a 2013 Fusion Titanium and love it, besides my problems . I look forward to checking out the forums regularly!

Here is my problem.

I got my Titanium in October, I got it straight off the truck and was probably one of the first to get the model. 4 weeks ago (on a thursday), and about 6,200 miles, I stopped at the gas station for some coffee before going into work. I walked back out to the car and the remote start didn't work, no big deal i will just go in the car and push the button instead. I get in the car and go to depress the brake pedal and the brake pedal is locked in place. After 20 minutes of messing around I give up and call roadside support. 7 hours later they finally come and tow my car to the dealership. I called the dealership and let them know my car was coming in and it was sort of funny because I talked to them earlier that day about bringing my car in for the headlight recall.

On Monday they tell me they ordered a new brake switch, great no problem I will get my car back in a couple of days. I get a call back Wednesday and apparently Ford had pulled all the brake switches out of stock and were having them re manufactured. The dealer told me it would be another week and they will call me when they get more info. A week and half later they call me saying the new part is shipping out to wharehouses and they should get it in the next week. Ok no problem I can wait a little longer. Long story short, 4 weeks later they now have a brake switch and I should get it back tomorrow, but the dealer is semi hesitant in giving my car back because I believe they are not sure about the quality and/or the actual cause of my problem. I have been in a rental car for the past 4 weeks (which the dealer is covering some of the costs which is great), but I WANT MY CAR

I've read through the forums some and see there has been a delivery delay and I was wondering if it is tied to this issue possibly. I haven't found any information on a recall, but it could be a bigger issue I think.

I was going to post it in a more appropriate forum, but I guess I can't post in those quite yet. I will edit my first post to detail my problem.
