New to this forum. 2013 titanium

Hi, I was enjoying my new fusion up till January 3rd. Then it wouldn't start, dealership has been working on it since. They tried 4 batteries, body control module, etc. It has the push button start. It acts like it is not sensing your foot on brake when trying to start and keeps saying"apply brake". They flew an engineer in from ford to work on it. That was last week. Still haven't heard anything. At least we have a decent loaner, 2013 Escape SEL.4WD. Wondering if anyone else heard of problems like mine.

Wow, that really sucks. I also have a new 1013 Fusion Titanium AWD in Ruby Red delivered early December. I was having some issues with the transmission (which the dealer says is normal) so came here to see if anyone else had similar problems. Though truly annoying, my problem pales in comparison with yours.

Your problem sounds like a software or firmware issue. I have been active in the Sync/MyFordTouch forum since almost the first day I got the car in early December. With the number of problems cited there it's almost as if this system is way too smart for its own good.

Good luck.

This is not reassuring...

Sounds like a TSB will be relased for this no start issue.

Main reason I no longer own a ford. Not that any other car maker is better all of the time but every major issue or gripe I had w/ the car. I was told it's normal or it's my fault for one reason or another.
