New to the Fusion world!

Not so new to the Ford world, but recently picked up an 06 SE V6 Auto and figured this might be the place to learn about it. Luckily the transmission isn't soup, which I hear is commonplace with the year I have.

I'm a Canadian military guy posted to southern Alberta, and also have an 05 XLT F150 4x4 and a 1995 Mustang GT that I like to tinker with, on the side.

Glad to be here and hope to enjoy my time!

Cheers,

Aaron

I do! I was going to post them in the pictures section of the forum but it would appear that the site is a bit strict to newbies, so I'll have to post'em here.

The Fusion

The Truck and Mustang

The Truck by itself

I'm pretty sure, if this link works, it should bring you to an album of the Mustang. It's got a few aftermarket parts.

As much as I tell myself that I won't modify this Fusion, I have a funny feeling that Steeda might become a regular part of my credit card payments.

We'll see. I should have a few questions along the way

That was going to be my very first question to you! Steeda has a pretty good name in the mustang world, wasn't sure if it had the same reputation with other vehicles.

I'm moreless concerned with ride quality, since I drive the car 60 miles a day to and from work on the highway. It's good to see decent fuel economy (truck gets 18mpg on it's best days) and comfort.

I was looking at a Magnaflow exhaust the day after I bought the car but when i heard the noise, I quickly realized that I have no reason to make this car loud. That's what my V8's are for.

Although I'm currently happy with the price of tires for 16 inch rims, I'll probably go to 18's before too long, grab a suspension kit from Steeda and be happy with what I have. (at least that's what I'm saying now)

As for the Mustang, it's been my project for a while now. It seems I took it in the right direction, but not many people favor this body style, so it's not an easy task to make people run to it at car shows. Someday!

Appreciate the kind words!

Aaron
