Hello

Hi everyone!
I'm the proud payee for my wife's 2011 electric blue Mazda3S. Sadly, the poor car (her, the car, name is Vivien) was subjected to a hit and run assault Christmas morning. I'm hoping some of the folks here can help me get her fully restored to her former beauty. Looking around, would maintenance be the right place to post about that?
Looks like a great forum and I'm looking forward to talking to you all here!

The other party ran a red light and struck the passenger side bumper before running away. Unfortunately we weren't able to get a license plate, but neither of us was injured so we were really pretty lucky I guess. The bumper is a little flexed and scraped pretty good about where it joins the quarter panel. There is a slight crease in the quarter panel above the wheel well. I'm hoping I can sand it all down and re-paint without having to replace the panels ($$$$$).

I have pictures I can post, I just don't want to start uploading them in the wrong place by accident...

Hopefully I got this right and they post.

Edit: Nope. I'll have to try again on a non-work computer.
