Phone Mounts

Well.. What do you guys use as your phone mounts inside your cars??

I have a GPS unit but with 4 different vehicles here, and two vehicles I drive often - its easier to just have phone mounts which in turn I use my phone as my GPS navigation.

I remember I got a mount years ago.. great when parked. But driving down the road the stiff bendable shaft would still wiggle. That turned me off for years.

With the new 2015 Fusion I got - Id like to get a mount that I can attach to somewhere on the dash or console as the windshield is too far away from reach (Im a tall dude, and sit far back).

Hopefully this thread helps others!

Im going to ask my Girlfriend which type of mount she uses. It clips to her dashboard, and it can pretty much grip any cellphone tightly. Her GalaxyS4 and my iphone 6 hold pretty snug. Ill edit this post once i get a link for it.

You wouldnt believe that is the exact one. I dont typically use it in my car, but sometimes in my unmarked Tahoe i will.

You have a dash cam too huh? Haha

What are the odds that's the exact one tho. I figure joint system be more stable than a flexible mount system.

I certainly do, front and rear, on my personal and squad cars. always pays to protect yourself. The exact model that we have of the mount is manufactured by.

Eh I always felt while good it can screw you. What if you use your laptop and accidentally run over a kid?? Those are the days I worry about.

I may get that mount. Curious to see other options but it does look promising.
