police interceptor ford fusion

At work I passed this ford fusion and it had a police interceptor tag on the trunk.

I've never seen one at any departments here and being an older car it could have came from anywhere.

Is this a limited ford production or some kid trying to be cool? If true, curious to see what performance difference there is.

We saw a Lexus IS300 police car up in TN/NC last week. No joke.

Called that on the radios and we were all freaking out (group of us driving to/from US129)

06 and down generation; all black with lights and stuff. We were freaking out because the guy driving the car was wearing what looked like a white suit and had very silver hair.

Totally was a scene out of Miami Vice, it was very very strange.
