Largest item fit inside your 3?

Specify hatch or sedan, and year. Jpics are awesome, but points for outlandish stories.

2007 Phantom Purple hatch; JBR RMM/busihgs/shifter plate, Koni STR.t's, Michelin Pilot AS3's, Spin on oil filter conversion, stubby antenna, Kenwood KDC-X997 hu + Sundown Audio SA12 + Infinity speakers + JL 320.4 amp, debadged and door edge guards removed, Lamin-X + indy fog mod, aluminum AC knobs, DIY SRI, TRS 5000K HIDs, more coming.

So the smartass answer would be your girlfriend.... but that wouldn't be true at all.

2006 sedan...

had to go in the back seat since wouldn't even come close to fitting in the trunk and this head and 3 guitars in the trunk.

There used to be a really good thread about this; I remember someone had a scary image of a large V8 and parts stuffed in their trunk lol.

The largest single item I ever fit (as opposed to multiple items, which was my entire apartment and dorm from college which... fit... with no vision outside of anywhere besides in front of my face lol)

Was a 42" vizio TV. Back when the boxes were indeed slightly larger than the TV itself, circa 2009/10

I have a picture somewhere of it. had to scoot the passenger seat forward a few notches, there was literally NO movement left and right, and NO movement forward or back. Pushed on it and the passenger seat until it dropped in flush on all corners.

There was no way to beat the way that TV fit in the entire hatch area lol. Vertically there was obviously plenty of room, but forward back left and right, zero. Absolutely zero.

A bed including mattress and box spring with my buddy laying on top. He just fit on top he was wedged between the mattress and the headliner lol. That was in and 06 hatch. It would be tough to fit more than that in there. Oh and the hatch had to stay open. Had a picture at the time but its not on my phone anymore.

Had the pieces of a queen size bed frame in my 04 hatch. They were sitting on the center console, stretched past the back seats all the way to the hatch.

Fit a 42" plasma, only could fold down half the back seat since my daughter was in her car seat.
