Said goodbye to our 2013 Fusion yesterday...

Well... We decided that after 8 months and 12k miles that we were tired of having to take our '13 Fusion into the dealer for broken trim and little issues ALL THE TIME. Sure, warranty alleviates the burden of cost, but inconvenience and lack of dealership customer service lead us to the end game for our Fusion. We LOVED the ride quality and noise deadening in it, but it had to go.

Enter our new vehicle.

I don't blame you.

But a toyota? What a joke.. would have gone with something better than those bland power wheels. enjoy the new ride!

This is the wife's car, not mine. If she wants bland, she can have bland.

Eh same with my gf.

She got a new toyota corolla S. Thankfully from the factory it looks somewhat sporty with aftermarket looking wheels and some flare. But still.. not a fan of toyota. We had 5 of them in our fleet in TX for a job we did few years ago. Tundras. Biggest hunks of junk. Things broke down just sitting there inside a warehouse for weeks on end.

Ha! I've never heard bad things about Tundras, but I can't say I've ever heard glaringly good things either.

Actually, I'm glad she chose this. It was a three way tie that came down to the CR-V, the Forester, and the RAV4. Honestly I think the RAV4 was the best looking and the tactile champ. The CR-V drove better but to me it was just so damn vanilla. Much moreso than this Yota. Eventually it just came down to price. We had all three optioned up to the same specs and they were just about even on MSRP. In the end, the Toyota won out.

I will miss the Fusion but I won't miss hearing my wife tell me about how she's losing faith in her brand new car. Being our first new car purchase, that will undoubtedly be a bit traumatic to her and make her inherently leary of Ford going further. Unfortunately for me, I'm a huge Ford fan.
