Your worst car related injury

Nothing too gruesome, but we all know sometimes the damned things like to bite. Who's got a car story that ends in a little blood/tears/cursing?

I was working on a friend's 3, putting in a front sway bar. Somehow, after I'd let the DS of the subframe down and was snaking the old bar out, I managed to catch my right hand on a sharp piece of something, and sliced my hand right between the thumb and index finger through the webbing of the hand. Bandaged it up, put on a glove, and kept going to get it finished, but every time I moved that hand for a week the wound would open back up again.

The very next day, working on a customer's car at the shop, I managed to do the same goddamned thing to my LEFT hand. So there I am, both hands screwed up, working as a mechanic. Fun times.

Anyone got anything to contribute?

2007 Phantom Purple hatch; JBR RMM/busihgs/shifter plate, Koni STR.t's, Michelin Pilot AS3's, Spin on oil filter conversion, stubby antenna, Kenwood KDC-X997 hu + Sundown Audio SA12 + Infinity speakers + JL 320.4 amp, debadged and door edge guards removed, Lamin-X + indy fog mod, aluminum AC knobs, DIY SRI, TRS 5000K HIDs, more coming.

From those pics, lucky all you broke was your foot. I've been fortunate in the car accidents I've had; never broke a bone, never so much as a scratch on me and I've had some doozies (totalled Miata when T-boned in driver door, totalled my 2004 3 running over a piece of road debris, loosing control, and smashing into a bridge retaining wall at 70mph.)

I keep saying, either God loves crazy or my guardian angel deserves a Medal of Honor.

Damn thats a bit scary. I live on a gravel road, never payed attention while driving down it, reached down to pick up a pen, looked up and said something along the lines of "HOLY F****!!!!" (i dont remember, brother quoted it) I then proceeded to go drive the back of a *parked* van at speeds of about 60km/h (37 mph for you 'mericans). Called my mom, walked around for a bit, went to the hospital and they gave me a half cast, then a walking boot. Never had to wear a full cast, im so lucky. You can actually see the square on the hood from the protege going under the van and getting destroyed by the frame. I stole the emblems off the car as a memory.
