WHERE'D YOU HIDE YOUR EZ-PASS?

Ok, vid like to hide my EZ Pass transponder for the tolls. Anyone come up with any good ideas? I think I'm gonna spray it with black plasti-cote and stick it to the underside of the lid for the dash cubby.
Anyone ever try this?

Do they require a direct line-of-site to function? I'm from Wisconsin where it doesn't suck, so we don't pay tolls to have crappy highways (Looking at you, Illinois)

Double-check your EZ-pass agreement. It's possible that you don't technically OWN that pass and could be charged an extra penalty if you physically modify it with plasti-cote or something. Similar to how you don't own your modem, you're just leasing it from the cable company.

The reason I'm using plastidip is so I CAN Peel the paint off if/when I return to the State.

I think the state of Ohio will fine you if you don't have your iPASS/EZ-Pass mounted on correctly....

Yeah, well Ohio is a pretty fucked-up place.

why hide it? I'm in NYC and nobody steals EZ passes. Mine stays attached to the windshield at all times.

Mine is hidden behind the rear view mirror. It's not hidden for others but at least I can't see it, haha. Some states have the ones that can be hidden behind the grill, not here is MA though. Well then again who knows, maybe I should try and report back.
