Fantasy Build

If you were to retire today, with unlimited funds, time, and skill sets, what would you build?

What I've got stuck in my mind is an old school Mini converted to RWD with an RX7 drivetrain in it. Nothing inside but a rollcage, racing seat, and gauges. British Racing green with a Japanese flag painted on the roof.

I wouldn't build a damn thing (myself, anyway).

The desire to build ones own cars, in my opinion, is a function of how little money you have vs. what you want. If I had unlimited money, I'm fairly sure my imagination would be the limiting factor; I wouldn't know what I wanted mostly because I'd have no idea what were possible.

Something that goes really fast and gets really shitty gas mileage. The 6000SUX.

A revolution gets its name by always coming back around in your face.

1971 2000GT-R, I'd probably put a very mild RB26 build in it to keep it comfortably DD-able but still quick. Bag-over-coil suspension, emphasis on comfort with good performance.

I'm gonna try to build something as close to that as I can after I get out of school, probably stick with a 4cyl engine though like an sr20. If I cant get my hands on a classic skyline I'll settle for a 510

There are 3 classic skyline down here in Texas at tays automotive. All they work on there is 240's and skylines. Basically anything you can drift.

I'll have to keep them in mind. I'll be looking to build a DD rather than a drifter, but still looks like a good place for parts and building.

I went there last Sunday to go pick up a garrett turbo. SOMANYMOTORS. I'm planning on going there when I start building a speed 3 motor for a swap. His DD is a S14 240 with a RB(not sure which one) but was told it makes right around or over 1000HP
