Finally!

Dang, after a few years of this site having new membership turned off or the admins never approving my membership requests I FINALLY officially was able to join. I've been using this site since 2006, when I got my first Mazda. I've had ideas, needed opinions and wanted to share my experiences but ever since I could never get an account.

Because of this forum I successfully installed a Gromm audio system in both 3's. The 2nd one took like 15 minutes total to do and I wanted to post pics of where I ended up putting the male end of the cord. The tuts showed through the cup holder or in the arm console but I had a slicker idea. I was also able to tell the dealership for certain that my 2004 could have a cabin filter. But the best experience I had with this site was being able to print off a list to give to the mechanic to check where a rattling in the rear was coming from. They were stumped but after I researched it on here, I compiled a list and told them to go down the line. Lastly, I appreciate threads such as the white Mazda thread and the show off your powder coated wheels one. Fantastic for ideas and inspiration.

Glad we could help, and yeah, it sucks that nobody was able to register for a long time, that really hurt the site's activity = /
Although I guess you've been around for a while, welcome anyway!

Thanks man. Aren't you the one who also makes those sticker "fangs" like on your 3? If so, I have your site bookmarked. I think I even emailed you once about sticker info.

Which reminds me, the "Show off your Stickers" thread is awesome. I went through every single page to get ideas for the stickers I put on. I was really surprised to not see somebody put their Zoom-Zoom sticker where I wound up putting mine. And I thought I wasn't being original.

Welcome. Speaking for the staff we're really sorry it took so long to get you in. We had such horrendous issues with spammers that we were forced to go back and forth between turning account activations to approval only, or to turn registration completely off. Even with the activations we would get thousands of new account requests every day so sifting through them was incredibly tedious. Regardless, you're here now and can finally contribute back to the forum.

If you haven't already make sure to check out the "why you should buy a third key" thread in the "I jut got my 3" forum. I also recommend installing heated side mirrors and upgrading the stock horn. Those three comprise my general suggestions to all "new" members.

Any other plans with the car(s)?
