RANT - annoying know-it-all nay-sayers!

<RANT>
I've finally snapped, these people who ride the forums claiming they know everything about what will and will not work on a given car have ****** me off to the point of no return!

These trolls ride around in their chairs telling others that some upgrade/modification/change won't work will hurt the car etc, when often they don't even own the same make/model/year as the person who is asking questions and just seeking information. Frankly any car is built with huge variability and as an example the timing sensor position varies widely from the factory as observed on this form. Given this degree of variability it is really impossible to say with certainty that a given change will or will not have a given effect, you just have to try. And for someone to start giving know-it-all advice and just saying "it won't work" "that's crap" or "it's a waste of time" is complete bull ****. Most of these people don't even own the car in question and or haven't tried to modification in question and are just relying on what comes directly from their *** which spends most of its time in a chair. The whole point of working on a car like this is to see what will work on your own car and if you don't like it, just change it back. The point of seeking advice on a forum is not to find out what will work, but what might work, and to find ways of doing these modifications in a safe way with the best chance for success.
</RANT>

Ok, I'm done.

You can't rant all you want. As long as there's forums it's going to happen.

What'd I miss?
Also, if you are annoyed with 'wrong' information about your vehicle... what the hell is a Ford 3S Hatchback you have listed in your profile?

Anybody else browse his topics to see what set him off? I'm not registered at the Mazda forums so I can only see his, like, four posts over here.

Did you seriously just censor the word "pissed"?

If I sit on a couch while typing does this thread not pertain to me?
