Might be looking at a Fusion Sport

I can get this car for $22,300 + TTL....

http://www.inventory.ford.com/servic...2b7ee4036b218a

Tempting. For $29k, I'd never consider a Fusion. For $22k? With the 3.5, leather, etc.? Definitely more appealing.

I'm just coming to the realization that the Soul is probably a tad small for a family of four, with two of those requiring a ton of stuff (strollers, etc.).

Re: Might be looking at a Fusion Sport

Wow that is a great price! What is the reason it is so low? The new 2013s?
The Fusion is a great car and I cant say enough good things about it. Even after my accident I still tell people its a great car.
Ive have heard nothing but good reviews on the sport. Its a great car and I think for that price thats a pretty damn good deal.
Trunk is awesome in it too! It holds so much.
IMO if you want more space and more pep (compared to the soul) I would look into it!
Whatever you decide to do good luck man!

Re: Might be looking at a Fusion Sport

Yeah, the salesman said the Sports just aren't selling and with the '13's about to come out, a high market 2012 Fusion is probably going to rot on the lot.

I'd hate to get back into a car payment, and I should probably wait and see if the Soul is sufficient for what I need, but it's very, very tempting.

After driving a Z28 4 days a week, I'm thinking that I could go for a more muscular automatic sedan now. Would prefer a MT, but I'm not getting the 4 banger.

The Soul is perfectly fine. It handles well and gets 35 mpg on my commute, but if I do end up with a new car, I'm going to place a much lower priority on fuel economy.

I wish they still made the Magnum. I big, RWD, V8 powered wagon would be perfect...

Re: Might be looking at a Fusion Sport

Stupid that most manufactures dont make wagons anymore...
The magnum was cool.
I dont drive that much since my commute was cut big time. So I dont really care about fuel economy anymore either
I dont fill up my fusion for like 3 weeks or more...

Re: Might be looking at a Fusion Sport

I drive about 40 miles a day. Now that I have two different cars to go between, I don't have to fill up very often, either.

Will talk it (the idea of a new car) over with my wife tonight.

Do what makes you happiest. If you can swing the payment go for it.
