Here's the original
Asians in the Library - UCLA Student's Racist Rant
Am I offended by that video? No, because I'm Asian, no specifically Chinese (you dumbass, being Asian does not mean you're automatically Chinese, we just happen to have the 2nd biggest land and we used to populate like mad.), and to tell you the truth, she made valid points.
From now on, I'm just going going to assume she was referring to Chinese people because she tried to speak Chinese.
Some of the things she got right and I do agree with her:
- Chinese people are f-ing loud, and we aren't very good at be courteous. I too, have wanted to throw a brick at someone from China/Hong Kong/Taiwan for talking loudly in the library.
- Chinese people DO shelter their kids. There are good and bad points to be argued here.
But fool, in America, EVERYONE will be annoyed by cultural habits. You see it in the open, keep it to yourself, go home, and then you can go "WTF why do <blank> people do that all the time?!"Discuss it with your family and close friends, you don't publicly hate on another race (unless you're a celebrity and you've got the dough to pay up the lawsuits).
You DEFINITELY do not bring up a recent disaster that resulted in a tremendous lost of lives (and still counting). Yeah people of any culture will call home if something happened, library or not.
Then I have to ask, what is "American manner?" Is it when you ask for a Mercedez on your 16th birthday? We may talk more frequently on the phone, but at least we ain't talking when we're driving.
There has been numerous video responses to the original, but this one is especially funny
Vlog #4: Asians in the Library - UCLA Girl (Alexandra Wallace) going wild on Asians
"BITCH WE GROW OUR FOOD!"
Again, I just want to say that I agree with some of her points (not all), but one just doesn't publicly rant about another race like that, and give us plenty of materials to poke fun at.
