And thankful, too. Driving during holiday traffic is horrid.

Probably drive the 3 miles over to the in-laws, but that's about it.

Re: Xmas Period Driving Plans?

Yeah, roadtrip. I have to drive my 84 year old Mom from Hartford , CT to Syracuse, NY to my sister's house for Christmas. Its about 4.5 hours in good weather. Leaving Friday AM and coming home Sunday AM (I hope, weather permitting). Fun to see the relatives again, but the car really takes a beating on these trips. Guaranteed to hit some snow/ice and the corresponding salt and grime. Last year by the time I got home I couldn't tell what color my car started out as. Nice to have the AWD though, just in case.

Will have the roads to myself on my chrimbus eve and chrimbus afternoon trips. People just don't get out much on the holidays around here.

Re: Xmas Period Driving Plans?

Only driving plans for Christmas are to visit my dad's grave site Christmas Day, then drive home and then take a cab to my mom's for dinner there so I can drink to forget about visiting my dad's grave site on Christmas Day
