Which size toruque wrench shoudl santa bring?

So i dont have a torque wrench and now its time to ask santa. Shou i go for 3/8 up to 100 ft/lbs or the 1/2" 50-250 ft/lbs..... I do mostly general wrenching on the 3 and my Xterra. Which of the two has more usable settings, well in your opinions

Unless you plan on doing some larger part swaps (suspension, transmission, etc.) I think a 3/8" 100ft-lbs wrench would be the most versatile. That will let you do everything from oil changes to tire rotations without wishing for a wrench that could go lower (or higher). Plus, if you already have some 3/8" sockets they'll be a perfect match.

Neither. Get a 1/2" drive that goes from about 30 ft/lb to 150 ft.lb. That'll cover almost everything on most cars.

Why choose, go with both...

I use both all the time, I would have a hard time picking just one.

I was looking at the ones in lowes. Those are the settings and santa only has room in his budget for one.

3/8 for sure. the most you're likely going to have to torque would be lug nuts at 80-90 ft lbs.

and only enough budget for one? they cost $30 at most...
