When I'm about to park I usually park next to other Mazda's if i get the chance. Do you do this as well?
Usually when I look for a parking spot that's next to other cars I'm checking the front wheels for brake dust. I know that sounds strange, but clean wheels usually means the person takes care of their car, and thus will be less likely to ding other cars around it.
Ever see a car with black/brown front wheels and nearly spotless rears.... don't park next to them.
I do notice other cars of the same make / model, but I usually try not to park near other cars.
Not a bad idea, but some cars out there, the first time you step on the brakes, the front wheels are black.
Own a car with a set of brembos, you'll see what I'm talking about.
