Improper turn ticket, bs, but how to defeat it?

I was driving my bro's lexus. Traction control was off all the time. It was like 3 am, cause I picked my bro up from the party. I get to the light, where I need to turn. Stoped on red, there were few cars coming, so i added a little more gas to make a turn, at this point it gave the car a little understeer oversteer. I corrected it, but at this point i see fuckin bitch cop turning around. I stop and wait, than i realize its a women cop, and at the first sight you could feel bitchy attitude. "
Cop: "You know why, I stopped you?
I went like "hmm, kinda" or something.
She was like "yeah, that turn, you can't do that"
ME: "I pressed a little too much gas and it gave a little too much understeer. I dont drive this car often, and own a fwd myself"
(At this point another cop car came, my valentine one was muted but saw he had radar on)
At this point, I didnt get theory
She" You know this car never got away from me"

I dont know wtf she meant, whether she never lost control of that shitty crown victoria, or she was chasing few is250's and they never got away.

She came back and gave me a ticket for "IMPROPER TURN". This kind, is mostly used for red light turning etc. At this point, I put the volume of my radar up (other cop had it on all the time) and went like "see ya in court" and floored it to speed limit (45 mph zone). Now how can I defeat that, since its clear she wanted to just make her Quota with a bs ticket. She had a such a bitchy attitute from the start, and that's why she probably called the other cop, so nobody could hit her in that stupid and arrogant face of her.

Any suggestions?

Why bother? It's your own fault. You drifted the car and got caught, there are no two-ways about it.

You're lucky you arent in Canada. Drifting a car is known as "stunt driving" and could end up with you without a license for 7 days and a 10,000$ fine. You're also lucky they didnt get you for "speeding off" to the speed limit of 45mph as this would be regarded as a "reckless driving" charge too.

Just pay the fine and let it go.

A) Learn to drive. If you can't make a right hand turn without going all dorifto, then just cut up your license.

B) Stop driving late at night if you don't have the common sense necessary to not make yourself an obvious target:

Re: Improper turn ticket, bs, but how to defeat it?

what the others said. If you want to feel better about your ticket, I got a ticket last year for turning left at a 4WAY STOP SIGN onto my own street (this was when i just moved to the area and didn't know) but for some reason you cant turn left there between 4-6pm monday, wednesday and friday... and its a residential area... that i live in. gah. i didn't even know what time it was cus i had unplugged my batt and forgot to reset the clock. Cop was a huge douchebag, i mean come on.. ive never had a ticket in my life.

worst part is, know how much the ticket was? 400 bucks.

No wonder your country has fewer budgetary issues than we do (just a joke, BTW).

[/quote]Heh well you'd think with all the BS tickets they give out here we'd be in good shape, but our roads are worse than minefields

Heres a picture of a typical montreal pothole that somebody took last year lol:

Thanks guys, and those are saying fuckers with FWD mazdaspeeds... You dont get the point here, I wasnt trying to drift, just pressed the gas to hard, quite too hard, but it doesnt matter. People are crashing on the snow, nobody gives them a ticket. Shit happens. And why didn't she give me "RECKLESS DRIVING" ticket than? Probably cause that undesteer doesnt fall under any category they have...

BTW went to the scene today and spotted this:

This is enough imo to cause slight understeer.

Oh yeah, with that i bet you could probably get away with at least having the ticket cut in half.

Good luck man...
