Driving with a suspended license!
Well have I got a story for you guys, last year I got a ticket last April for failure to yield, I paid it off cash... so fast forward to this Friday, I get my mail as usual and I get a letter from some law firm in Miami, saying that legal action will be taken etc etc if I do not pay 28 bucks...
I call these people up and they say they are involved with collections and I owe 28 bucks and id have to contact the county clerks office to find out what happened.
First thing I find out is my license has been suspended since September, they said that in August a letter was mailed to me or about the money- off-course I never received such a letter- what is 28 bucks to keep my ass free of big black penises in jail?
Im not sure how to describe how unorganized this system is but on a scale of 1-Twilight its about an 11. After waiting for 2 hours on various lines, I pretty much spoke to some ghetto ass lady in Tallahassee (redneck area I believe) and believe it or not the people I spoke to all yelled at me or made some smart remark and want me to pay the 28 plus 60 to get my license back.
Now the money is not the problem but there is no one to clarify anything. At first I actually want my record cleaned of this bs but knowing the DMV/Clerks office they wont/cant do anything. The Clerks office has no higher ups I can speak to and I doubt I can report the DMV to the BBB.
Tomorrow im gonna pay it off maybe I might get to talk to someone a little higher up
It just shows if a simple issue like this is this hard to clear, I can only imagine what misery others with much bigger issues have gone through...... especially that issue I read where some kid was wrongly convicted of murder, summary: they blamed him till he falsely confessed.
