Audiophiles, recommendation for earbuds?

Hi there. I've had these Sony MDR-EX300LP headphones for several months, but it's just that. One of the bud stopped working.

I love the way these sound, particularly, I love the bass. However, these aren't the first Sony earbuds I've had. I must be on the 5th set of similar earbuds from Sony. And I'm tired of replacing them with another set that'll just die on me in half a year or so.

Can you guys recommend a similarly priced earbuds with similar sound quality? Thanks!

Skullcandy Ink'd earbuds are pretty nice for their price (~$20). Good bass output too. I had an old set of creative earbuds that came with my Dell laptop, those were amazing, but the cable finally went after 4 years, and I didn't feel like waiting to order them online (they didn't have them in stores).

Im sorry but skullcandy are horrible, sony's are good and probably the best bang for your buck honestly.

^^ Agreed with the Skull Candy statement. As with the Sony, they are indeed the best sounding earbuds for me, and they don't cost too much. But they just keep dying on me!

Anyways, I think I've settled on these.

those are very good as well. the thing with sony is the cords are fragile. i dont know why they dont make them stronger...but then again i have had my sonys for three years with no issues

You're a lucky one. I've always found their ear canal earbuds to sound GREAT. But one of them always blow out in a few months.
