Dumb Facebook status updates

What are some of the dumb ones you see on your homepage? I like facebook, don't get me wrong. It's an easy and effortless way to keep in touch with your close friends, friends who are far away, and associates. But I've noticed some, if not most of these status updates are stupid to me. People whine about the most insignificant things without even realizing they've been blessed with good fortunes and are far better off than others. That, or they write something they're clueless about. I'll start.

X: "Is loving how Obama alway says "Here what I am going to do?" All I got to say, nothing is done!"

I'm no politician, but it ain't easy to fix 8 years of problems.

a lot of my republican friends tend to post things like that. Otherwise lots of food diaries and just funny stuff.

I don't mind the funny stuff. But food diaries are annoying too.

I really don't care what you're eating. I also don't care if you're getting rained on. Because chances are, EVERYONE else is getting rained on too. And no, I'm not proud of you for doing your homework at 10pm at night, and how horrible it feels.

Re: Dumb Facebook status updates

I don't usually see any dumb ones lol. But I do have a friend whose statuses are always "Today was crappy. I don't wanna get up at 5am..." or something along those lines.

Re: Dumb Facebook status updates

Some people use the whats on your mind section on here and/or facebook status as a way to vent or get all the negative thoughts out of their head. I know I do. But I do know what you mean by the people that always have really negative/down on their self status's. Does get old after a while.

Agreed w/ the people waking up. I can't stand "Up at 6 for work and its raining FML" or my favorite is "I love my life!!! It's the greatest!!!" But these are actually the people who hate their lives and want to fool themselves and the rest of the world into thinking otherwise. I usually delete these people.

Re: Dumb Facebook status updates

All those "Farmville" updates and requests from (or about) friends is annoying.

Re: Dumb Facebook status updates

Using the words "dumb" and "Facebook" in the same sentence is redundant....
