So i think i may have just screwed myself over...

So, i decided its time to do the Demon Eyes mod on my car. after shopping around for good ones, i remembered that DaBears2k used to sell them on this forum forever ago. so i went to the site, placed the order cause they were significantly cheaper, and thought hellz yeah! well 3 days later my order is still "processing" when i remember reading that orders made prior to 1 p.m. would be shipped same day. so i emailed them:

i placed an order on thursday around 12:20 and if i remember correctly, i would have been sent out that day since i ordered before 1 pm. however, i have yet to receive a tracking number and your site only says that my order is processing. has this been sent out yet? and if so, is there a tracking number i can use to see where it is and when to expect it's arrival?

Thank you

the response seemed fairly generic:

Especially during this very busy time, it takes us 2-3 business days to ship orders. We send them out in the order they come in, from oldest to newest.

Thanks
so then i came back to the forums and decided to msg him here for further explaination. but after searching for him i came upon some very bad threads saying they used fake parts, wouldn't send items, poor service or no service at all, ect... it says that its under new mgmt on their site but i'm still a bit worried.

am i gonna be screwed over? should i cancel my order? or has anyone had good experiences with the supposed "new mgmt"?

Considering he was dropped as a vendor for selling fake parts and other various reasons, it's up to you if you want to cancel your order and go with a more reputable vendor. He's been dropped by several other forums as well.

Good luck none the less to you.

A bird can never change the color of their feathers. Under new management is a farse. I hardly think that's the case.

I wouldn't wait til tomorrow - start the process now to get your money back and buy from a vendor in good standing here.

I own an automotive company. It's my full time job. We sell 4x4 stuff and other differential related crap. Anyway..if you order from me on Monday..I ship Monday. Tuesday..I ship Tuesday. Etc etc. There's no excuse not to ship the same day unless it's a direct ship. In that case you should be notified that it's a direct ship and given tracking info. It's just bad business any other way.

That sucks. I recently bought a spare hid ballast from them. I paid twelve dollars for fedex 3 day shipping and it took almost a week to get here. When it finally arived it was in a small box with a usps label on it. I contacted them about it and the said they choose the fastest shipping option possible, it couldn't have cost twelve dollars to ship that tiny box. I personally would cancel my order, I won't be doing anymore buisiness with them.

and he just responded:

It's certainly not a delay in shipping. On the order confirmation page it clearly states that it can take up to 72 business hours for shipping, since fedex doesn't pickup on sat or Sunday, that means m-f.

As far as your order goes, it's number 85 in line for tomorrow. We have the capacity for 225 per day so it will ship tomorrow.
i feel a little better but still weary. hopefully i will get a tracking number tomorrow to ease my mind.

That email to you just seemed rude, it's like when the told me 3 day shipping means 3 days after I placed the order.

If you wish to think someone who was dropped from several forums will send you an item that is not fake, and not the genuine thing, continue waiting. Considering how poorly Matt runs his business, I would cancel my order right away if I was in your position. Just my two cents though.

Also keep this in mind - after you receive your item and if the part fails, don't ever expect Matt to help to rectify the problem. Other members encountered issues with him not assisting and having to pay a lot of money in shipping just to get the part to and from.
