Health Care???

Ok with the whole Obama care fiasco lead by the Pelosi "SS" (Socialist State) coming to fruition. I just recieved my renewal (2010) on my companies health plan. Same plan just went up 50% a week. WTF???? Is this happening all over please let me know? This is about as bad as when they told the credit card companies "hey were going to f-you in about 6 months" but "you will still be unregulated for that time have fun" my 8% card went to 14% overnight. democrats middle america

God I hate democraps.

Yes, a 50% increase is about right. All of my employees cost us 50% more as well since we cover everyone's health insurance 100%. My co pay also doubled. I had a wisdom tooth removed last week and that cost me 178 + a $50 deductible since it's the first of the year. EVERYTHING went up.

Re: Health Care???

It's hardly (solely) the Democrats fault. I don't recall any progress on cost control/reduction during the several years of GOP dominance.

I don't know how much mine is going up as my employer pays 100%.

As far as the credit protection act, a very good piece of legislation, but with the usual watered down implementation that removes its effectiveness.

OK but guess what all the D.S.S (Democratic socialist state) signed that too so I dont want to hear that "Bush" crap. House and senate make bills and laws not the president. Republicans didnt need to back door bribe/negotiate that deal and phillabuster it thru the congress/senate. Hey but in 6 months I will be fined if I can't afford health care so whooo hooo.

LOL, are you forgetting how many times the GOP threatened to pull the "nuclear option" over judge confirmations, etc.? Many, many back room deals were done to bring one or several democrats over.

I disagree with 80% of the democratic platform, but let's not pretend that the GOP has any moral high ground when talking about ideals, legislation and their execution.

have you ever been to a hospital? really, have you? if you pay for your own health insurance its incredibly expensive. then whenever you go to the hospital your deductible is ridiculous, but shit, atleast your covered right? yea sure, then you get the $2000 bill for anesthesia, and all of the other miniscule things that every insurance company doesnt tell you isnt covered in your plan..

literally, if you broke your arm, its more affordable to buy a plane ticket to south america, find an incredibly reputable doctor (doctors in south america treat their patients better than here) get your arm fixed, stay a few extra days as a mini vacation, and fly back than it is to have even the most affordable of health care plans here in america..

trust me, its been done by my familly before.

Ok under the Republican (not condoning him in any way) President and dem house and senate my insurance would go up a modest 5-10% a year. And now the goverment steped in to stick it where it doesnt belong and my credit cards jumped 10% interest rate and my health care jumped 50%. It is the democrats stepping in to where they dont belong that is causing the mayhem.

Republicans dont want to hurt their pocket books so they support status quote. There needs to be checks and balances and the sheep that voted all Democrat that eliminated that system need to wake up. Personally I voted for Obama but voted republican across the board the rest of the way. A great president has nothing to do with making laws other than vetoing them (yes he can make suggestions). And even if there was a republican president or Obama vetos it, the democrats have enough votes on their party side alone to overide his veto anyway. Thanks sheep. "Hope and Change" yea they should have clarified that.

lol, you think almost non-existent chance of the police knocking down my door is worse than the costs of everything going up? that's one of the most retarded things i've read in a while.

+1
look im not some ignorant fuck who thinks obamas going to make it rain money and all girls in the U.S will suddenly look like jenna jameson, but mcain + palin < Obama

we only had 2 options when it came down to it and i picked the one i thought was less full of shit.. remember this one? (the fundamentals of the economy are strong) next week the economy collapses? lol

anyways, politicians are politicians, they are all dirty. theres no point in pretending that republicans are these pure proud people, my ass, they get bragged, bribed, and take interest in money for then vs money for us everyday.

shit, if you ask me the GOP is kind of losing its morals, isnt that what everyone is talking about? seems like every time i tune in to CNN theres another republican scandal, or some "pure hearted christian republican" getting caught cheating on his wife.

so get out of here, democrats alone cant pass a bill and vice versa, of course since your getting so into politics suddenly you understand that right?
