Gran Tourismo 5!!!

Well the 360 has its Forza lovers. How about PS3?

I downloaded the demo and the challenge a week ago. You get a choice of a stock 370Z or a Modified one. One track to run and you times get combined and ranked worldwide, in preparation for the release of GT5.

Overall, I like the handling characteristics better than Forza, but I like the damage you get in Forza. I can't believe GT5 has no damage still!! Atleast the demo didn't. I am excited for the release!!

Whats everyone times?

Re: Gran Tourismo 5!!!

I haven't played either one, but GT5 will have damage (if it ever comes out).

Check out the trailer... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXtbXy5vO70# Look at the WRC cars.

I can't wait for this to be released, I'll finally be buying a PS3.

Forza is great. I don't know if GT5 will require you to get all the licenses. I don't have PS3 anyway but I just HATED having to get the licenses. Plus I hated driving a mazda demio for a month before I got anywhere. Forza pretty much lets you drive cool stuff right away. Plus I love the rewind button for when I screw up..Does GT5 have that?

yes. you have to get licenses. because otherwise, real students of the game would be pissed off that pansy-asses like you ruined it. and no, there is no rewind button. if you screw up, you suck. get better and don't wreck in the first place. and there's no reason to be stuck in a mazda demio for any amount of time. i think you're refering to gt3, but i can beat the entire first level in an afternoon. start with the vitz and slap a turbo on it and win the vitz challenge and.... VOILA!!..... instant $30k to buy a real car. it takes, like, half an hour to get to that point. maybe you should stick with need for speed or something that allows you to add ugly ass body kits and neon lights to your dub edition charger and leave the real racing to the big boys, mkay?

Re: Gran Tourismo 5!!!

GT3 was the reason I bought the PS2, same thing is going to happen for GT5 & the PS3. Nice thing about GT5 is that it's going to have Nascar & WRC along with the regular Gran Turismo racing. 3 games in one, all with the Turismo physics engine. Gonna be nice - eventually.
