Finding out your driving record... and cleaning it up?

So i basically got lot of stuff i believe on my record... reckless driving, couple speeding tickets, taking left turn when i shouldn't, no front license plate (was on the window) ... and i don't mind the non moving violation (or should i) but want to take out the speeding ... actually anything to keep my record clean.. im in washington state and wondering is there way to check for free my records?

Also, is there ways to improve my records if yes how long will it take?

i'm guessing only a lawyer can do the trick of getting this cleaned up...

Usually if something is on your driving record there is only one way to get it off.

Wait. Usually 2 or 3 years.

it does as far as insurance is concerned. I'm pretty sure license suspensions do too.

closest thing to removing things from your record is to take a defensive driving course.
in most cases, it'll take 2 points off your record, but the violation will remain on your record. you also save 10-15% on your insurance.

in washington you can defer one moving violation and one non moving violation every 7 years and that keeps it off your record unless you get anouther ticket within one year of that defered ticket then you get hit with both of them

Re: Finding out your driving record... and cleaning it up?

you can take the defensive driving option (called diversion here in ks) to keep the most recent ticket off your record. after i got my last ticket (the first in five years) i went to my insurance agent and asked if it was worth the cost of the diversion (about 125% of the cost of the ticket), and she told me definitely not, because with only one traffic violation on my record, at my age (almost 26) it wasn't going to increase my monthly premium, which was very, very good news. so it wasn't worth it to follow through with the diversion.

big 3 / grounded TB / Optima Red / Alpine 9857 / 10w3 / clear lens 5000k's / smoked reflectors / LED puddle lamps / blue interior LED's / LED interior kit / smoked LED 3BL / pro-kit / koni yellow's / blacked out headlights / ccfl angel eyes / cosmo sri / oem spoilers
soon: projector fogs / ram air / darkstar crank / vcts /sways
eventually: led tails / gt spec chassis bracing / other stuff
