yahoo account stolen- all accounts info there everything, how to get it back?

Tried contacting yahoo and so far no response. Some dickhead broke into my account and changed the password (prolly at the library where i was doing research). I had everything there, and I changed the passwords to what i could remember. Yet still, I have too much business going on with that account (I know stupid me for using it in public). How can I get into it and change the password, so the email is back in my possession. That dickhead who stole it changed even the security question to "name of my first pet"- Can you believe that? Any suggestions are welcomed greatly. Tried many password recovering programs, but no luck. I start to believing that it's prolly bs with that software. Hopefully yahoo will help... hopefully.

Re: yahoo account stolen- all accounts info there everything, how to get it back?

I just tested my Yahoo account. I logged into email, went to options and then account information (where you would go to change the password). That brought a new window where I was asked for my password again. It sounds like you were phished somewhere else or your browser was set to save passwords. Password recovery tools are a scam for any web-based service.

Good luck
